# Submit Trades (Stocks/Options, Crypto, Forex)

## How To Submit Stock Trades

### Opening

1. Open the New Trade interface from left navbar.
2. Choose `Stocks` under Market.
3. Select the direction of your trade, Long or Short.
4. Enter the stock ticker symbol. *You will see it's logo appear and it's current price in the price field.*
5. [Put in your traded price, or use the provided real-time price.](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]
6. Select the Style of your trade; Daytrade, Swing, Scalp, or Long Term.
7. Hit `Continue`

Did you know?\
After continuing to the next step, the submitted price will be locked in. So even if the current market price exceeds the price tolerance threshold, you will still be able to complete the submission. *Keep in mind there is a time expiration on this.*

2. Add notes or upload media. *(Media uploads limited to PRO members only)*
3. Add a risk factor flag; Earnings, YOLO/Lotto, or Risky.
4. Modify your Trade Sharing settings.

### Average, Partial/Trim, or Closing

Use ![](/files/pTlEnFEp1XSXjlyRZAh6) to instantly close a position at the current market price.

1. Go to Active Positions and click on a position's row to expand it.
2. Select Average, Partial, or Close from the dropdown menu under Status.
3. Input your price or use the provided real-time market price.
4. Optionally add notes or upload media.
5. Modify the Trade Share settings
6. Hit `Submit`&#x20;

Trades can also be averaged, trimmed, or closed directly from the [Trade Insight](/info/readme/user-interfaces-overview.md#trade-insight) interface. Standalone notes can also be added from this interface using `Update` in the dropdown menu under `Status`.

## How to Submit Options Trades

### Opening

1. Open the New Trade interface from left navbar.
2. Choose `Options` under Market
3. Select the direction of your trade, Long or Short.
4. Enter the stock ticker symbol. *You will see it's logo appear and it's current price in the price field.*
5. [Put in your traded price, or use the provided real-time price.](#user-content-fn-3)[^3]
6. Select the Style of your trade: Daytrade, Swing, Scalp, or Long Term.
7. Under State, specify `Call` or `Put`.
8. Start typing in the expiration date and select it from the list of dates.
9. Input the strike price.
10. Hit `Continue`

## How to Submit Crypto Trades

### Opening

3. Select the direction of your trade, Long or Short.
4. Enter the crypto ticker symbol under Coin & it's trading pair under Pair. *(I.e. BTC/USDT where BTC is the Coin and USDT is the Pair)*
5. Start typing the exchange name and select it from list.

7. Select the Style of your trade: Daytrade, Swing, Scalp, or Long Term.
8. Hit `Continue`

3. Select the direction of your trade, Long or Short.
4. Enter the forex base & quote currency ticker symbols- do not separate the tickers with any character. *You will see it's logo appear and it's current price in the price field.*

6. Select the Style of your trade; Daytrade, Swing, Scalp, or Long Term.
7. Hit `Continue`
